All the good promo stuff in one place!

Hey Little Rockstar! Join award-winning musician and professional goofball Jesse Jukebox for an interactive family concert packed with original music, puppets, instruments, bubbles and plenty of silliness. Kids get to sing, dance and help make the music, with songs that celebrate friendship, courage and being yourself. A blast for the whole family—especially families with kids 8 and under!

Jesse Jukebox is the musical alter ego of Cleveland-based songwriter, recording artist and professional goofball Jesse Friedberg. His original family music pairs rock-and-roll energy with ridiculous humor, honest feelings and songs that give grown-ups something to enjoy, too. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Jesse also earned a master’s in Early Childhood Education from Ursuline College. That combination shapes his interactive concerts and music classes: real musicianship, plenty of participation and room for kids to be themselves. His fifth family album, Jesse Jukebox Sells Out (2025), mixes playful satire with songs about friendship, courage and being loved on a difficult day. “Not at Your Best” won first place in the 2025 International Songwriting Competition’s Children’s Music category. Jesse Jukebox Sells Out won Best Children’s Album at the 2026 World Entertainment Awards. “Afraid But Brave” won a 2026 InterContinental Music Award in Children’s Music, Best of North America. “Hey Little Rockstar” was a 2025 Session I Children’s category finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Jesse is a Recording Academy Voting Member and performs solo or alongside DJ Turkey Sandwich, whose dance parties, sound effects and stage banter add another helping of fun.

Jesse’s recordings include Jesse’s Jukebox (2012), There’s Music Everywhere (2017), Awesome! (2020), Just a Minute (2022) and Jesse Jukebox Sells Out (2025). His work with Grammy-winning producer Dean Jones embraces imagination and the full range of childhood experience, from the funny to the tender. Away from the stage, Jesse teaches early-childhood music in the Cleveland area. His concerts and classes invite young children and their grown-ups to participate together, with original music, movement and a sense of play. He is available for theaters, festivals, libraries, schools, community celebrations and private events. As a child with ADHD, Jesse was refused music lessons for being too “wild” and struggled to fit in at school. After losing his dad to cancer at eight, he found comfort through a music therapist at the hospital. That experience continues to shape his mission to help children express themselves and find solace in music. Jesse has studied under Livingston Taylor, Thaddeus Hogarth and Pat Pattison, and worked with multi-platinum award winner Michael Seifert. Notable performances include Grog Shop, Beachland Ballroom and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in the Cleveland area; Evanston SPACE, Beat Kitchen and Color Club in the Chicago area; and LaureLive Music Festival.
